Xu Peng, Intermediate Engineer in Environmental Protection Engineering, currently serves as the Operations Manager of Guoshun Qinggang Project Department. He has been deeply involved in the field of environmental protection operation and maintenance for fourteen years, and has successively led the project management work of Xiwang Special Steel, Jiuquan Iron and Steel, and Nippon Steel, achieving a leapfrog growth from a front-line technical backbone to a strategic manager.

During his time working on the Qinggang project, Xu Peng promoted the leapfrog development of the operation and maintenance system, expanding from the initial 2 sets of wet flue gas desulfurization devices to a comprehensive operation and maintenance system covering 3 sets of sintering machine desulfurization and denitrification, and 3 sets of boiler flue gas treatment systems. The annual amount of waste gas treated increased by more than three times.

He pioneered the "three-dimensional training system" of theoretical training, practical exercises, and skill competitions, achieving a 100% certification rate for special operations, cultivating more than 20 technical backbones, and building a professional, efficient, and innovative operation team.

According to the requirements of the "Digital Year", Xu Peng led the implementation of the "Intelligent Environmental Protection Operation System Energy saving Transformation EPC Project", introducing the APC intelligent control system to achieve precise control of desulfurizer dosage and reduce energy consumption by 18%.

At the same time, a digital operation and maintenance platform has been built to shorten the response time for equipment failure warning to within 30 minutes, reducing unplanned downtime losses.

Xu Peng led the team to establish a "four-dimensional safety management method" with standardized systems, scenario based training, intelligent inspection, and practical emergency response, ensuring the safe operation of the project with "zero accidents".
