Recently, the steel structural components for Span 27–28 of the Yantai Shanhai Road Overpass Bridge, undertaken by Guoshun Green Building Technology, have been successfully delivered from the factory. The fabrication of all steel box girder components was completed in merely 45 days. With its robust capabilities, Guoshun is helping accelerate and boost the efficiency of transport infrastructure development in Shandong Province.

As a key project on the Shanhai Road section of Yantai’s expressway network, the bridge of this construction section is designed as a dual six-lane structure with a single span of 55 metres. The entire span is split into 21 prefabricated segments manufactured off-site, with a total steel weight of more than 1,000 tonnes. Adopting the modular construction model — main structure fabricated in factory and assembled on site — Guoshun Green Building Technology effectively improves the machining accuracy of bridge components, shortens on-site construction time and minimises the impact of road works on existing traffic.

Faced with a tight schedule and stringent fabrication technical requirements, the team of Guoshun Green Building Technology coordinated production schedules and refined process flows. Strict quality control was implemented at every stage including raw material incoming inspection, welding and coating. Working overtime in close collaboration, the team upheld delivery deadlines with strong commitment and controlled product quality with meticulous craftsmanship, delivering solid support for the development of transport infrastructure in Shandong Province.
