News | Guoshun helps Xinjiang Agricultural Sixth Division Aluminum Industry to create a benchmark for electrolytic aluminum flue gas treatment, and the wet desulfurization system of carbide slag achieves ultra-low emissions!

Recently, the 550000 tons/year electrolytic aluminum project in the Zhundong Park of Xinjiang Agricultural Sixth Division Aluminum Industry Co., Ltd., undertaken by Guoshun Group, has brought good news. The 1 # wet desulfurization system in its electrolytic flue gas purification system has been successfully put into operation. The system innovatively adopts the wet desulfurization process of lime gypsum (calcium carbide slag slurry), achieving ultra-low emissions of pollutants, significantly reducing operating costs, realizing the resource utilization of solid waste, and setting a new benchmark in the industry.


The project is designed with a flue gas volume of up to 1.04 million Nm ³/h (standard cubic meters/hour) and an inlet flue gas temperature of 130 ℃. The inlet SO ₂ concentration of the desulfurization system is less than 450mg/Nm ³, and the dust concentration is less than 20mg/Nm ³. After the system is put into operation, the emission indicators are excellent: the outlet SO ₂ concentration is stable below 8mg/Nm ³, and the dust concentration is below 5mg/Nm ³.

Core Technology Highlights:

1. Efficient substitution of carbide slag: Guoshun Group fully utilizes the resources of the park and uses high-quality carbide slag (Ca (OH) ₂ content ≥ 90%) to replace traditional limestone as a desulfurizer, which not only reduces the cost of desulfurizer by 40%, but also achieves efficient resource utilization of solid waste.

2. Collaborative deep purification: The system design fully considers the synergistic control of SO ₂ removal, particulate matter, and fluoride. At the same time as efficient desulfurization, an excellent synergistic defluorination rate of ≥ 95% has been achieved.

3. Intelligent and efficient operation: The system realizes automated control, adjusts the dosage of desulfurizer and the pH value of the reaction slurry in real-time and accurately, ensuring energy saving, consumption reduction, efficient and stable operation of the system.


The project successfully achieved the integrated application of "dry defluorination+carbide slag wet desulfurization" technology in large-scale electrolytic aluminum flue gas treatment, providing a green and innovative solution for complex flue gas. At the same time, the high magnetic field environment of 800GS on site demonstrated the hardcore construction capability of Guoshun Railway Army.
