From December 13 to 14, 2025, the 2025 Shandong High-end Equipment New-type Industrialization Innovation and Creativity Competition, jointly sponsored by the Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology and the Shandong Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, and undertaken by the Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association and the Shandong National Defense Machinery and Electronics Trade Union Committee, was successfully held. Guoshun Group's project titled Key Technologies and Equipment for High-efficiency Collaborative Treatment of Flue Gas Pollutants in the Ironmaking Front-end Process of the Steel Industry won the First Prize in the Invention and Creation Category.

The core objective of this competition is to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speeches during his inspection tour of Shandong. It aims to fully advance the No. 1 Project for industrial economy, further promote new-type industrialization, and enhance the innovation potential of high-end equipment enterprises in Shandong Province. As a key event in Shandong’s high-end equipment manufacturing sector, the competition covers 16 cities across the province and has attracted the participation of over 200 entities including enterprises, scientific research institutes and university - affiliated units. Focusing on crucial areas such as breakthroughs in "bottleneck" technologies, green and low - carbon transformation, and digital - intelligent management upgrading, it has fully demonstrated the innovation vitality and industrial resilience of Shandong’s high - end equipment manufacturing industry.
