In response to the call of national policies, implementing the strategy of high-quality service development, and further improving the level of process equipment for sintering machines, Jiuquan Iron and Steel Group Yuzhong Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., based on its own and surrounding resources, adheres to the design concept of "high efficiency, low consumption, high quality, and cleanliness", and entrusts Shandong Guoshun to build a 265 square meter sintering machine CFB semi dry desulfurization+medium temperature SCR denitrification system, which officially started construction on March 15, 2024. On October 23, 2024, the semi dry desulfurization process of Shandong Guoshun was successfully applied again and received a thank-you banner from the owner.

The main exhaust gas volume of the sintering machine is 2280000m ³/h (working condition, wet basis). Due to the use of full concentrate and vanadium titanium ore sintering in the project, the flue gas has complex characteristics such as high sulfur content, high moisture content, and large dust volume. The particulate matter concentration at the inlet of the desulfurization and denitrification system is ≤ 50mg/Nm ³, the sulfur dioxide concentration is ≤ 3500mg/Nm ³, and the nitrogen oxide concentration is ≤ 300mg/Nm ³.

Jiuquan Iron and Steel Group Yuzhong Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. has built a set of desulfurization equipment for the 265m ² sintering machine. In recent years, in order to further reduce costs and increase the use of surrounding resources, the inlet sulfur dioxide has been increased from 1000mg/Nm ³ to 1800mg/Nm ³. The newly built desulfurization and denitrification area is located on the east side of the new 4 # road in the factory area, on the south side of the original desulfurization system. The construction site is located in a narrow and elongated shape with a terrain that is high in the south and low in the north. After the desulfurization and denitrification system is put into use, the particle concentration of sintering flue gas is ≤ 10mg/Nm ³, the sulfur dioxide concentration is ≤ 35mg/Nm ³, and the nitrogen oxide concentration is ≤ 50mg/Nm ³, fully meeting the national ultra-low emission requirements. Due to the particularity of sintered ore, the actual operating sulfur dioxide concentration of the project can reach 4200mg/Nm ³, the desulfurization efficiency can reach over 99.5%, and the export sulfur dioxide concentration is stable and meets the standard.

The semi dry desulfurization process is an efficient, energy-saving, and intelligent desulfurization technology that has been researched and tested by Shandong Guoshun for many years. The desulfurization device using this technology can also synergistically treat SO3, Hg As、Pb、HF、 Various pollutants such as dioxins and dust have advantages such as maturity, stability, and high automation level.
