2025 (16th) Steel Industry Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction Conference

In order to thoroughly implement the latest national policies on energy conservation, emission reduction, and carbon reduction, consolidate industry consensus, deepen industrial synergy, and promote the green development of China's steel industry, and build a low-carbon competitive advantage, the 2025 (16th) Steel Industry Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction Conference, guided by the China Iron and Steel Industry Association, hosted by the Metallurgical Industry Planning and Research Institute, and jointly organized by Shandong Guoshun Construction Group Co., Ltd., was successfully held in Beijing on July 25-26, 2025. Representatives of nationally renowned steel enterprises, authoritative experts from research institutes, top financial institution scholars, and mainstream media at home and abroad gathered at the grand event to jointly explore new advantages in green development of the industry and draw a new blueprint for industry strategic transformation and upgrading.

The theme of this conference is "Deepening the synergy of pollution reduction and carbon reduction, and strengthening the foundation of green development". Jiang Wei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice President and Secretary General of the China Iron and Steel Industry Association, and Liu Bingjiang, former Chief Engineer of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and member of the Population, Resources and Environment Committee of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, delivered opening speeches. Jin Minghong, a second level inspector of the Resource Conservation and Environmental Protection Department of the National Development and Reform Commission, Lu Shize, Deputy Director of the Climate Change Response Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, and Zhang Jiqun, Deputy Director and Chief Engineer of the Water Conservation Promotion Center of the Ministry of Water Resources, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Lv Yang, General Manager of Guoshun Construction, and his delegation were invited to attend the meeting.

At the meeting, General Manager Lv Yang delivered a keynote speech entitled "Energy saving Optimization Solutions for Environmental Protection Facilities", systematically analyzing the pain points and difficulties in the development of ultra-low emission "post era" steel and other process industry enterprises. He detailed the leading advantages of Guoshun in energy-saving optimization technology for process industry environmental protection facilities, shared Guoshun Group's successful experience in the design, construction, and optimization operation of environmental protection facilities for more than 20 years, and demonstrated Guoshun's innovative exploration and practice in promoting pollution reduction, carbon reduction, energy conservation, and efficiency improvement in steel enterprises.
