On February 11, 2026, the Zaozhuang Policy Briefing on Ultra-Low Emission Renovation for Boilers and Furnaces was successfully held. Representatives of key industrial enterprises and experts from research institutes gathered to focus on the requirements for green, low-carbon and high-quality development of boilers. The meeting fully interpreted relevant policy guidelines, clarified renovation task standards, and pooled synergies among government, enterprises and research institutions. It aimed to steadily improve ambient air quality across the province and consolidate the ecological foundation for green and low-carbon development during the 15th Five-Year Plan period.

During the meeting, participants visited the Gangue Comprehensive Utilization Cogeneration Project of Zaozhuang Bayi Thermal Power Company invested and constructed by Guoshun Group. They spoke highly of the project’s achievements in resource comprehensive utilization, ultra-low emission renovation, and coordinated energy conservation and carbon reduction.

At the conference, Mr. Sun Deshan, Chairman of Guoshun Group, delivered a keynote speech entitled Research and Application of Flue Gas Deep Pollution Reduction, Carbon Reduction and Efficiency Enhancement Technology Based on AI Large Models. He focused on in-depth sharing of condensable particulate matter control. He elaborated on the core principles and application advantages of Guoshun Group’s condensation treatment technology, systematically presented key achievements in process design and AI large model development, and showcased successful practical cases in related fields, providing replicable and scalable solutions for enterprises’ ultra-low emission renovation.

At the Zaozhuang Bayi Thermal Power project site, attendees were briefed by staff on the project background, technical route and operation performance. They learned in detail about Guoshun’s integrated desulfurization and denitrification technology, multi-stage slurry flash evaporation coupled with heat pump waste heat recovery technology, and the practical effects of AI large models in the full-process intelligent control of the project. The project’s technological innovation and practical performance were highly praised.

As an industry benchmark project built by Guoshun Group, the project received technical support from Professor Wei Yiming, Director of the Beijing Laboratory of Carbon Neutrality Systems Engineering at Beijing Institute of Technology.The Zaozhuang Bayi project achieves a removal rate of condensable particulate matter over 60%, with remarkable energy-saving and carbon-reduction effects:

• Rated waste heat recovery capacity: 36 MW

• Annual recovered flue gas waste heat: approximately 290,000 GJ

• Annual standard coal saved: 10,200 tons

• Annual water saved: more than 100,000 tons

• Annual CO₂ emission reduction: 27,200 tons

• Simultaneous reduction of SO₂: 87 tons

• Simultaneous reduction of NOₓ: 75 tons

The project has solved the bottlenecks of synergistic deep reduction of multiple pollutants and efficient energy recovery, setting a benchmark for the upgrading of dust removal, desulfurization and denitrification systems. It has received attention and coverage from more than ten authoritative media at central, provincial and municipal levels.
