Recently, the ultra‑low‑emission renovation project for No.2 sintering machine of Yingkou Xinjing Iron and Steel, undertaken by Guoshun Group, has been successfully commissioned meeting compliance standards. Supported by the mature sintering flue‑gas treatment technology system and full‑process refined construction management and control, the delivered quality of the project has won high recognition from the owner.

The project adopts a complete process route consisting of lime‑gypsum wet desulfurization, integrated tower‑top wet electrostatic precipitator, GGH heat exchanger, heating furnace, SCR denitrification and booster induced‑draft fan. Tailored optimization design is carried out for the whole system in view of operating characteristics of sintering flue gas such as high dust content and drastic working‑condition fluctuations. It realizes efficient collaborative removal of multiple pollutants including nitrogen oxides, sulfur dioxide and fine particulate matter, ensures long‑term stable emission performance meeting ultra‑low emission standards for the iron and steel industry, and helps the enterprise mitigate environmental‑protection compliance risks from the source.

During project construction, the team was confronted with challenges including tight construction schedule and heavy workload. The Guoshun Xinjing Project Department scientifically formulated a special construction organization plan. The flip‑chip construction method was adopted for main assembly of the absorption tower. Closed‑loop management and control was implemented throughout the whole process for high‑risk links such as anti‑corrosion coating, hot‑work operations and confined‑space operations. It effectively solved difficulties including overlapping multi‑disciplinary working procedures, dense high‑altitude anti‑corrosion working points, and heavy pressure on work safety and process control. The duration of high‑altitude operations was greatly shortened while assembly precision of structures was effectively improved, guaranteeing on‑schedule delivery of project milestones. It fully demonstrates the solid professional strength of the “Guoshun Iron Troop” and has gained high recognition from the project owner.
