The first 2026 practical training session for frontline ecological and environmental law enforcement elites focusing on the iron and steel industry, organized by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of China, was successfully held at Qingdao Special Steel recently.

The sinter flue gas desulfurization and denitrification system of Guoshun Qinggang Operation Project was selected as a core on-site teaching venue for this training, serving as a benchmark model for observation and study by ecological and environmental law enforcement teams nationwide.

Centered on the core philosophy of "on-site real-scenario teaching and hands-on practical training", this training delivered full-process on-site instruction on waste gas treatment in the iron and steel industry to over 120 frontline ecological and environmental law enforcement backbones from across the country.

To ensure the smooth running of the training program, the Guoshun Qinggang Operation Project Department attached high priority to the event and made thorough arrangements. It precisely aligned its work with the teaching demands of the law enforcement training, set up a special working group dedicated to training support, and coordinated all preparatory work in an all-round manner.

Throughout the training, technical and operation & maintenance (O&M) staff from the project department provided full-time on-site support. They retrieved operational monitoring data as required, demonstrated the working conditions of environmental treatment equipment on-site, and gave detailed answers to professional inquiries raised by law enforcement officers covering waste gas treatment processes, facility operation and maintenance control, online monitoring management and more. The stable and efficient operation of the desulfurization and denitrification systems as well as the standardized O&M management system were presented intuitively.

The advanced digital and intelligent operation platform, standardized facility maintenance and refined management model won full recognition from all participating law enforcement backbones.
